Nothing will come of nothing: speak again. (1.1.92)

The weight of this sad time we must obey;
Speak what we feel, not what we ought to say.
The oldest hath borne most: we that are young
Shall never see so much, nor live so long. (5.3.325)

When I stand and contemplate my fate and see the path upon which you have led me, I reach my end, for artless I surrendered to one who is my undoing and my unend.

One Truth

You say: evasive,
It won't hold water,
A sieve vs. vase
vis-à-vis I've saved
all the best truths
for this (the truth) a
nightlong longing for
a night of lying
with you. I do the
next best thing: a glance
(glancing) (it contains
all I want to contain)
Forgive the shy, the away. If
truth be told, I can't be true.

But what was there to say?

Only that there were tears. Only that Quietness and Emptiness fitted together like stacked spoons. Only that there was a snuffling in the hollows at the base of a lovely throat. Only that a hard honey-colored shoulder had a semicircle of teethmarks on it. Only that they held each other close, long after it was over. Only that what they shared that night was not happiness, but hideous grief.

Only that once again they broke the Love Laws. That lay down who should be loved. And how. And how much.”

Arundhati Roy
The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you are alive, and die only when you are dead. To love, to be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar disparity of the life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget."

Afterwards
my decision encountered you
and from the rupture
that was breaking our hearts
we came forth clean again naked
loving each other,
without dream, without sad,
complete and radiant,
sealed by fire.

Because of the unknowable, life means something.
When everything is known, then everything is flat. You will be fed up, bored.

When the body functions spontaneously that is the instinct
When the soul funcions spontaeously that is called the intuition.
